The Best is Within You- Food for Thought!

Never search the best outside!

Once a man wanted to sell his house and buy a better house. He approached a real estate agent. The agent accepted his proposal and published an advertisement in the classifieds column the next day. The man saw the advertisement and was taken aback! He just then realised that his house had so many facilities he had ever imagined. He went directly to the real estate agent and cancelled the deal.

Many of us are in such a state now. We are not able to identify our own strengths as we focus more on our weaknesses.

When I speak about our strengths and good qualities, I remember one more story which I would like to share here.

Once husband and wife lived. They were really a loving couple. But, at one point in time the misunderstandings in both of them increased gradually and they landed up in divorcing each other. After some years the man wanted to marry again. He went to marriage bureau to find a suitable bride. The consultant at the bureau asked him to mention the qualities he expect in his would-be wife so that he can see a match with those qualities. The man began quoting his needs. After he finished he realised that all those qualities were present in his ex-wife which he didn't identify and accept.

So, identify the strengths present in you. Nothing is beyond you! Everything is present inside you. Do not search outside!
